On the premises of the Granges Konin Foundry, a semi-continuous foundry system (UPCO 7) and a band saw for cutting ingots were installed.

Remal carried out work as the main contractor with the participation of representatives of technology suppliers. In terms of UPCO 7 assembly, the main tasks can be enumerated:

  • Assembly of the casting table actuator,
  • Installation of the water system supplying the process, including the installation of pumps,
  • Assembly of trough installation components supplying the casting unit with liquid aluminum,
  • Assembly of the casting unit and the casting table,
  • Execution and assembly of the extraction system,
  • Execution and assembly of aroon and chlorine installations,
  • Installation of the extraction chimney,
  • Participation in the start-up of the system.

An additional task was to supplement the plant’s infrastructure with additional containers for scrape and specialized racks for storing launch heads and other equipment.

In the implementation of this task, Remal cooperated with subcontractors in the electrical, automatic and hydraulic industries. The supplier of technology and components was Rodabell.

In terms of mounting a band saw for cutting ingots, the main tasks are:

  • Installation of rails and transport systems for ingots,
  • Assembly of the saw structure with tooling,
  • Installation of fence elements,
  • Execution and assembly of bumpers,
  • Execution and delivery of scrap containers,
  • Start-up participation.

Also in the implementation of the ego task, Remal cooperated with subcontractors in the electrical and pneumatic industries. The supplier of technology and components was Mossner.
